What better way to end the summer than having a Pina Colada pool side! Put your shaker down and pull out your blender for this creamy and fruity cocktail!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Cream of coconut
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- Splash of simple syrup
- 1/2 cup rum
- 2 cups of Ice
- Maraschino cherries
Directions
- Add cream of coconut, pineapple juice, rum
- Add frozen pineapple, ice, splash of simple syrup
- Blend until smooth
- Pour and garnish with cherry or pineapple
- Drink and enjoy
Tips and Tricks:
- You can add more pineapple juice or simple syrup if you want to make it sweeter
- It is very important to use Cream of Coconut and not Coconut milk
- Add more ice or the frozen pineapple if you want a thicker consistency
- Make sure you stir the Cream of Coconut prior to adding it to the blender.
- Of course add less or more rum depending on how strong you want your cocktail.
